
For a fuss-free twist on potatoes this Thanksgiving, pick up a family-size container of Duchess Potatoes from Ukrop’s Kitchen and try one of the following recipe combinations.
Bacon-Horseradish Duchess Potatoes
Ingredients:
1 Duchess Potatoes Holiday Side
1.5 cups grated Horseradish Cheddar (Found in Ukrop’s Specialty Cheese Case. Less if you want milder mashed potatoes.)
2 Tbsps. chopped chives
4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
Stir cheddar and chives into potatoes. Heat according to package instructions. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon before serving.
Pimento Cheese Potatoes
Ingredients:
1 Duchess Potatoes Holiday Side
1 tub Ukrop’s Pimento Cheese (or Jalapeno Pimento cheese for a tangier dish)
Stir together Duchess Potatoes and Pimento Cheese. Heat according to package instructions.
Gorgonzola Duchess Potatoes
Ingredients:
1 Duchess Potatoes Holiday Side
2/3 cup crumbled Gorgonzola
Stir Gorgonzola into Duchess Potatoes, reserving a few tablespoons. Heat according to package instructions. Sprinkle with remaining Gorgonzola prior to serving.
